Watercolor Workshop with Gail McDaniel
The Arts Guild of the Barrens is pleased to announce that Gail McDaniel is coming to Glasgow to conduct a watercolor workshop. The luminous reflective light of Gail’s transparent watercolors is achieved without the use of white paint or gouache on her palette and by preserving the white of the paper as the only white of her paintings. Gail’s exquisite use of this traditional watercolor technique has vaulted her to worldwide recognition and constant demand as an artist and instructor.
Gail shares her years of experience and knowledge of watercolor with students of all artistic levels in weekly group classes, individual lessons, and workshops that have drawn students from across the United States. She has won awards in fourteen juried exhibitions and is featured in permanent displays and private collections. Through world travel and training, she has become internationally recognized. The workshop will be held on March 17-19 from 9am-4pm in the Fellowship Hall of Glasgow Baptist Church. For information about the cost of enrolling in this workshop and a supply list, contact Betty Brogan at 270-646-8668.
