Glasgow-based heavy blues rock-and-roll band Otis has released its self-titled debut EP.

Otis is Boone Frogget (lead guitar and vocals), John Seeley (bass) and Andrew Gilpin (drums). Descibed as “original but classic in nature,” the album was engineered by Chris A. Mitchell at Freedom Studios and mastered by The Sounddog” at Studio B.

Though a digital recording, according to the band “…there is much attention paid to capture the true performance and character of the band’s sonic depth and analog roots.” The photography is by Justin Mutter and Frozen in Time Photography and the album is dedicated in memory of local bluesman Willie “Soul” Smith.
