Lady Tops outlast FIU 3-2
Rachel Anderson finished with a team-high 18 kills and Sophia Cerino added 17 as Western Kentucky topped visiting Conference USA rival Florida International 3-2 (25-20, 24-26, 25-14, 20-25, 15-11) on Friday at E.A. Diddle Arena.
Taylor Bebout totaled 50 assists for the Lady Toppers, who improved to 17-9 overall and 8-3 in C-USA play.
Payton Frederick tallied 23 digs and Bebout added 15 for WKU.
The Lady Toppers are back in action Sunday at home against C-USA foe Florida Atlantic. Game time is noon.
