Fest Feast – Come out for the Stars!
Maestro Jeffrey Reed has assembled an amazing cavalcade of talented artists for Orchestra Kentucky’s 10th Anniversary finale. The late Ed Sullivan would describe the concert as ‘a really big shew’. Join Orchestra Kentucky and OK favs Larnelle Harris, Curtis Burch, Tim King, Sylvia Kersenbaum and more, for CelebFest, Saturday, May 15th at Western Kentucky University’s newly-renovated Van Meter Hall. Come and experience the impressive improvements at what will become the region’s premier concert hall.
“We are really excited about all of the upgrades made at Van Meter and feel confident that the audience will hear Orchestra Kentucky as never before,” commented Music Director and Conductor Jeffrey Reed. The performance features Larnelle Harris’s signature Amen, bluegrass classics from Curtis Burch and Sylvia Kersenbaum’s electrifying performance of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, to name just a few.

Free shuttle service is available from downtown as well as from the Adams Street parking lot. Valet parking will also be available for a nominal fee. Upon arrival, you will not have to climb the stairs. Easy ramp and elevator access gets you to new and comfortable seating. An enlarged, state-of-the-art stage with orchestra shell will make the concert experience unforgettable. There will be beverages available. What’s not to like?
