One person died in a single-vehicle crash at 11:21 a.m. Friday in Hart County, according to Kentucky State Police.

Dylan Cain Horton, 20, of Munfordville, was eastbound in a 2001 Chevrolet pickup on Raider Hollow Road when he attempted to pass another eastbound vehicle, according to a news release from KSP Post 3 in Bowling Green. The truck dropped off the left shoulder and went into a spin. It then overturned and tossed out Horton.

Horton, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hart County Coroner’s Office.

Passengers Nolan Bunnell, 20, of Munfordville, and Billy Pittman, 22, of Buffalo, were not transported by EMS.

The investigation was led by Trooper Justin Rountree. He was assisted by Trooper Jonathan McChesney, the Hart County Coroner’s Office, Hart County EMS and the Priceville Fire Department.
