Thompson, John M. (aka Johnny, JMT)
Born in Nashville in 1968 and attended WKU settling in Scottsville. Band leader and solo artist, Thompson is the founder/owner and primary instructor for the Scottsville Conservatory and serves as the Allen County – Scottsville Arts Council’s Director.
1979-2008 Well over 300 self-produced and recorded yet-to-be-released JMT originals currently in the vault. Thompson has a long history of local bands and now performs under his name, often accompanied by his students such as Sean Rice (drums) and Aaron Holder (bass).
