Lindsey Wilson College freshman swimmer Emily Wood (South Warren High School Class of 2015) captured College Swim Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Honorable Mention All-American honors in the 1,650-yard freestyle during Saturday’s NAIA Swimming and Diving National Championships in Columbus, Ga.

Wood finished in seventh place with a time of 18 minuteds, 12.47 seconds and she became the first swimmer in program history to score in the event.

Lindsey Wilson placed sixth in the team standings at the NAIA championships, the final meet of the season.
