Geocaching 101, First Period!

Spring weather is finally in the air! Lost River, Naturally, the new way to explore the park, is in full swing!  Get your family outside and geocache in the Lost River Valley!

On Saturday, March 20th at 1:00 pm, local geocaching expert and seasoned Lost River volunteer, Danny Bays, will be hosting another event in the Geocaching 101 Family Education Series, “Geocaching: First Period.”

At the event, Danny will continue his informational geocaching series as well as address new questions about geocaching that may arise. All geocaching “newbies” as well as experts will be welcome at the event! After questions have been answered, venture into the valley for a guided geocaching expedition. Get ready to find all of the caches in the valley!

Do you think you have what it takes to be the first person in the group to discover the hidden cache?

Geocaching is an interactive treasure hunt that uses latitude/longitude coordinates and GPS technology to find caches all over the world! For more information about geocaching the Lost River Cave & Valley Web site!

Stretch out the Winter stiffness as you and your family hike through the valley, learning about geocaching, laughing with one another, and loving your precious moments of togetherness!
