There’s two sure fire ways to tell summer is here; check the thermometer and look for the first D93 Block Party. On both counts we can proclaim it’s here. Storm Bringer rocked the stage on a perfect evening. There were giveaways, a sale of the station’s new, limited-edition t-shirts, and food and beverage by Wha Bahs Steakhouse. They also gave away tickets to the evening’s Hot Rods game to the first 93 people to arrive. Four of the on-air DJs were on hand, as well as the D93 sales team. So the size of the crowd was understandably impressive. The audience seemed to love every minute of it, asking Strom Bringer for encore, and they did oblige. It was a great time, and it was free! That’s the best price.Rumor has it there may be another in the Fall, so listen to D93 to get all the details if and when they are available. And then come on down.
