Winners announced for 2010 Community Impact Awards of Southern Kentucky

Christian Family Radio announces the winners of the 2nd Annual Community Impact Awards of Southern Kentucky. The Finalists were introduced, and elegant crystal trophies donated by Riherd’s were presented to the award recipients during a special dinner banquet at the National Corvette Museum. Entertainment was provided by recording artist Charmain of In:ciite Media. Christian Family Radio congratulates the winners and thanks everyone who submitted nominations, as well as those who attended the gala celebration.

Outstanding Business Of The Year:

Outstanding Non-Profit Organization Of The Year:

  • Hope Harbor (Bowling Green)
  • South Central Kentucky Kids on the Block
  • Newborns in Need (First Baptist Church, Bowling Green – Winner)

Outstanding Volunteer Of The Year:

  • Tim England (Glasgow; posthumous – Winner)
  • Charles M. Moore (Bowling Green)
  • Jacqueline Olson (Bowling Green)

Outstanding Philanthropist Of The Year:

  • Bowling Green Hot Rods (Art Solomon, Managing Partner)
  • David Garvin (Bowling Green)
  • Mike Murphy (Bowling Green – Scott & Murphy – Winner)

Through its continuous involvement in the community, Christian Family Radio has seen first hand the hard work and dedication of volunteers and civic leaders who are helping to shape the future. Moved by the need to celebrate Southern Kentucky and its values, citizenry and life, the community-based, non-profit radio station established in 2009 the annual Community Impact Awards of Southern Kentucky. Nominations are reviewed by an independent selection committee to determine three (3) Finalists in each category and then the winners.
