The 2011 Coats for Kids campaign is here!
Several businesses and schools in Bowling Green have become collection sites where people in the community can drop off new or gently used coats no through December 5 to be given to children in need this winter. It’s our 21st year doing the campaign and we are so excited to make it a success! Each year we collect 1000-2500 coats at our many drop-off stations.
This year, all of the BB&T Bank locations, Nat’s Sporting Goods, The Hot Rods Stadium, Graves Gilbert Clinic, the First Baptist Church and Daycare and Warren County High School are all drop off locations! All donated coats will be collected and taken to Big B Cleaners, who have donated their services, again! After the coats are dry cleaned, they are distributed throughout the community as needed.
We will also accept monetary donations that we will use to purchase new coats! Past recipients have been BRASS, the International Center, schools, etc. For more information contact Deanna Clark at deannaclark8@gmail.com or 270-703-9145.
