Grant awarded to humane society
A $6,200 grant was awarded to the Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society from the Bissell Pet Foundation, supported in part by Bissell Homecare to help fund a spay-neuter program.
The funds will help provide low-cost spay-neuter surgeries for the pets of Warren County residents who could otherwise not afford this important preventative measure, according to a news release.
Bissell Pet Foundation has given more than $3 million to organizations such as Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society.
