Spirits in the Cave is an annual fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Kentucky that takes place in Lost River Cave.  The 10th annual Spirits in the Cave will be held July 29, 2010.

Spirits in the Cave features a food and beverage show by local restaurants and vendors.  Last year fourteen restaurants and four beverage vendors provided diverse culinary offerings for attendees.

Musical entertainment will be performed again by Exit 4, a regionally based classic and country rock cover band.  Founding member Dana Hester describes their band saying “Our number one goal is to entertain the audience by playing the best music we can. We try to get people jumping on the dance floor.” 

A silent auction is also featured at the event with a variety of gifts available.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Kentucky’s mission is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with trusted mentors who promote self-esteem, expand their awareness of life’s opportunities and give guidance and support.  Last year’s Spirits in the Cave raised $46,000 for the organization with a nearly sold out crowd of about 500.
