The 24th Annual Great Turkey presented by Midas will take place on Thanksgiving Day, November 25th at Kereiakes Park in Bowling Green.  The event will include a 5k run and a 3k walk, and participants will compete for medals, custom pottery, whole turkeys, and fresh pies.  Early registration is $12 until November 22nd and the first 350 registrants are guaranteed a long sleeved commemorative shirt. 

Proceeds from this great family event are the sole source of funding for the Bowling Green Road Runners WKU Scholarships.  Since the first run, nearly $50,000 in scholarships has been awarded to WKU student athletes.
