Woodard’s Week 3 performance leads Logan County

Anthony Woodard did it all in Logan County’s Week 3 victory at Warren East in the Justin Chaffin Allstate Insurance Game on Friday.

The junior had eight receptions for 130 yards and two touchdowns, 37 rushing yards on two attempts, a punt return for a touchdown and an interception in the Cougars’ 35-17 victory.

“Going in, I knew I was going to be a big piece of the game, a big motor to get the team started, so I just went out there focused and ready to get my job done and that’s what I did,” Woodard said.

Woodard, who caught 11 passes last year, already has 14 receptions for 280 yards and four touchdowns through three games this year as Logan County is 3-0 and ranked eighth in Class 4A in the latest AP poll.{&end}
