Union College freshman Shelby Harp has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference’s Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, the league announced.

Harp, who attended Warren East High School, posted the Lady Bulldogs’ best finish at Berea Invitational on Sept. 15, coming in 13th of 54 runners. Harp ran the 5k course in 21:47. The time was also the fifth-best individual time in women’s program history.
