Former Bowling Green High School standout defensive back Vito Tisdale, who played this past season at Colorado, has entered the NCAA transfer portal.
Tisdale, who began his college career at Kentucky before moving on to Colorado, saw limited time with the Buffaloes in 2023 due to injury. Tisdale saw action in three games, three total snaps, and did not record any statistics.
Before Colorado, the 6-foot-1, 195-pound Tisdale spent three seasons at Kentucky before being dismissed from the program in March 2023. Tisdale missed the entire 2022 season after tearing his ACL in spring practice.
In his first two seasons at Kentucky, Tisdale appeared in 19 games and tallied 41 tackles, two for a loss, one pass breakup and a quarterback hurry.
Ranked by ESPN as a four-star prospect and the No. 282 player in the nation coming out of Bowling Green as the No. 20 safety and No. 3 player in Kentucky, Tisdale also garnered top-10 state rankings from 247 Sports and Rivals.
At Bowling Green, Tisdale was a U.S. Army All-American and first-team all-state selection after tallying 88 tackles (26 solo), four interception and two fumble recoveries during his senior season in 2019.
Tisdale would have up to two seasons of eligibility remaining with a COVID-19 waiver.
