Make your voice heard Tuesday

It’s time once again for citizens across the commonwealth to make a vital decision on who will represent Kentuckians in the governor’s mansion for the next four years.
There are also a small number of local races across southcentral Kentucky, but the contest between incumbent Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear and Republican challenger and state Attorney General Daniel Cameron is among the mostly closely watched of all issues to be decided this month.
Still confused about who to vote for? The Daily News provided a series of stories by our Sarah Michels detailing in depth where Beshear and Cameron stood on a wide variety of issues.
Those articles are available on the Daily News website to help voters make an informed decision.
Armed with facts, we again urge voters to hit the polls Tuesday to let their voices be heard. The election process is vital to the continued strength of our nation, and one that should not be ignored or taken for granted.
Bowling Green’s large refugee community can provide ample testimony to the importance of having a say in political representation.
It’s unfortunate that we have seen dwindling voter turnout numbers in recent years, but there is no time like the present to have a robust turnout.
