Who do magistrates represent in Warren?

Is the government working for the people or in spite of them?

“I have been advised not to comment until after the Fiscal Court decision.” That is the response the concerned constituents of Plano, Kentucky, received when they reached out to District 6 Magistrate Ron Cummings with concerns about traffic safety and environmental issues involving the proposed new subdivision on Plano-Rich Pond Road, which is up for approval with the Fiscal Court.

Were these citizens wrong in their expectation of their magistrate to listen to and represent their opinions and concerns when voting?

I write this letter to you and the public in the hope that they will take note and seriously consider whose voice their elected representatives (at all levels) are really listening to. Are they listening to the majority of their constituents, or are their ears only open to the constituents with money to boost their volume? How much does your vote really matter to them?
