Bowling Green – William “Bill” Berkley 73, of Bowling Green, KY went to be with his Lord on October 9, 2016 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green.
The Grand Haven, MI native was born on July 7, 1943 to the late Arthur Irwin Berkley and Alice Ford Berkley Blair, and was preceded in death by a sister; Judy Berkley Barton, a brother; Lloyd Arthur Berkley. He is a retired veteran of the United States Air Force after 20 years of service, he was also a motorcycle shop parts manager at M&M Vista and construction worker, a member of Glendale Baptist Church, and he was a very avid hunter and loved the outdoors especially mowing his lawn. He had a growing passion and love for his family and Lord and will be greatly missed by them all.
He is survived by the love of his life, Donna Stout Berkley, beloved stepfather and friend Leroy Blair, 9 children; Alan, Sharron, Julie, Sheila, Roger, Jimmy, Jamie, April, and Bethany, 21 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 4 brothers and sisters; John, Mickey, Pam, and Hal, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday October 14, 2016 at J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel with burial in the Mt. Lebanon Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be on Thursday from 12 noon to 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Friday at the funeral home. Expression of Sympathy can be made to the American Heart or Lung Association.
