Wanda Ferguson

Bowling Green – Wanda Jean Ferguson, 72, of Bowling green, passed away Sunday, Oct. 2, in the Hospice House of Hospice of Southern KY. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan and a lifelong resident of Bowling Green, Kentucky. The daughter of the late W.L. Ferguson, Sr., and the late Emojean Shields Ferguson. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Kay Ferguson.

She graduated from Warren Central High School, studied at BU Business College and graduated from the House of James Cosmetology.

Wanda’s career included several years as Director of the House of James Cosmetology, Bowling Green Realtor, and Manager of Vette City Liquors, Louisville Road.

She was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church and had attended The Presbyterian Church in her later years.

Wanda is survived by her brother, Lloyd Ferguson (Kim) of Bowling Green; a niece, Fran Bowen (Will) Bowling Green; two great nieces, Carlie Shaye Bowen and Cary Beth Bowen, both of Bowling Green; niece, Tiffany Hatcher, Bowling Green; great niece, Kelsey Hatcher Tullis (Jake) Bowling Green; and Special Companion, Tom Neblett, Bowling Green.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 12:30 Saturday at the JC Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel before proceeding to Fairview Cemetery for a 1:00 pm graveside service.
