Terri Lynn Coker-Howard

Terri Lynn Coker-Howard, 40, of Temperance, Mich., formerly of Bowling Green and Erie, Mich., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at her home.

Born Jan. 28, 1972, in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of James and Mary Ann (Glass) Coker. She married Chad Howard on July 23, 2004. Terri was an avid Michigan football and Yankees baseball fan. She also enjoyed big trucks, campfires, spending time with her family and friends, but most of all, spending time with the center of her life, her son, Markus.

Terri is survived by her loving husband, Chad; children, Markus Coker, Sarah, Logan and Rachael Howard; parents, James and Mary Ann Coker; brothers, Dan Bonawitt, Rick (Terri) Bonawitt and Jim Coker; sisters, Cindy DiLorenzo, Rebecca (Andrew) Britton, Lori (Charles) Cinkowski and Kim (Ed) Zaracki; special friends, Katie and Don; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Jean Coker.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. EDT Saturday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road (at Jackman), Temperance, where a memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. The family wishes for people attending to wear casual clothing, college shirts, but preferably Michigan shirts.
