Shemiah Christine Jones

Shemiah Christine Jones, 37, of Bowling Green, passed away peacefully at 7:15 a.m. Nov. 6, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. 

She worked as a manager in food services at The Medical Center and Taco Bell. She is the daughter of the late Charles Thomas Jones and Deborah Jean Halsell Jones of Bowling Green.

She is survived by her daughter, Karina Jones; her son, Alex Jones; her mother, Deborah Jones; and her grandmother, Christine Jones, all of Bowling Green; a brother, Matthew Jones of Covington; a sister, Angie Kirby of Bowling Green; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Shemiah had asked to be cremated, and the family will honor her wishes. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel.
