Roy Walker Jr. age 80 of Bowling Green, passed away Tuesday at 9:05 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born to the late James R. and Myrtle Alford Walker. He was married to the late Judy McCauley Walker for 50 years.. He is also preceded in death by his daughters, Barbara Melton and Judith Walker, Granddaughter Ruthie Walker, and his parents, sisters, Bernice Morgan, Imogene Marcum and Jenni Coker Retired from Flav-O-Rich as a Mechanic and Truck Driver, and a member of Glendale Baptist Church, where he was a beloved bus driver on bus #6. Roy was an avid fisherman and loved to fish. He is survived by his daughters, Vickie Fentress (Frankie), Penny Bartos Barefoot (Rian), sons, Danny Walker (Sandy) and James Roy Walker Sr. (Felicha), Grandchildren, Tabitha Alvey (Wesley), Bobby Kimbro (Chelsea), Terry Walker, Tiffany Pawley (Matt), Kathy Harper (Mike), Steven Bartos, Jamie Melton, Willie Walker, Billy Walker, Audrey Walker, Danny Joe Walker, Travis Sanderson, Robert Sanderson, Kathy Sue Kimbro, and 10 great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday and after 9:00 am Friday at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Friday at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel, with burial to follow in the Fairview Cemetery.
