Richard Montgomery

Richard Montgomery, 58, of Bowling Green, died at 1:30 p.m. June 23, 2014, at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville.

He was born in Bowling Green to Audie Montgomery, who survives, and the late Hazel Tinsley Montgomery. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Cynthia Montgomery. He was the shop supervisor for Vermeer Heartland Co. in LaVergne, Tenn.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Spivey Montgomery of Bowling Green; his sons, Eric Stary of California, Derek Montgomery and Steven Montgomery and daughter Christina Montgomery, all three of Bowling Green; his father, Audie Montgomery, and stepmother Mary of Bowling Green; sisters Donna Montgomery Simmons and husband Joe of Bowling Green and Terri Britton and husband Denny of Indiana; half brother Jason Goad of Bowling Green; half sister Laurie Miller of Illinois; grandsons Patrick, Carson, Beckham, Gabe and Grant; niece Laura Ashton; and stepnephew Joseph Simmons.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday at J.C. Kirby & Son, Broadway Avenue chapel. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel, with burial to follow in Old Union Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
