Leslie ‘Les’ Guier

Bowling Green – Leslie “Les” Guier, 84 of Bowling Green died Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the Medical Center. The Trigg County native was a son of the late Forrest Guier and Wilmoth Francis Guier. He was preceded in death by his son, Forrest Thomas Guier; brother, Richard Guier and three sisters, Floella Carr Guier, Myra Dean Carr and Jean Ferguson.

Mr. Guier worked at Fort Campbell and was a farmer. He was a member of Richpond Baptist Church and was a Mason for over 50 years and an Army veteran.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 am Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home. Masonic services will be on Wednesday at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Herndon Guier; four sons, Lester Bennett Guier (Kathy), David Arthur Guier, Keith Smith Guier and Kevin Brian Guier; two sisters, Mary Guier Hunt and Virginia Underwood; one brother, Troy Guier (Sue); nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
