Joyce Ann Allen Merklin, 72, of Bowling Green, died May 1, 2014, at her home.

She was a nurse and a family home provider for LifeSkills. She was preceded in death by two children, Brad Church and Elois Snodgrass.

Survivors include her husband Glenn Merklin; a daughter, Brenda Meredith (Ronnie); two brothers, Eldon Allen Jr. and Johnny Allen (Regina); six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at J.C. Kirby & Son, Broadway Avenue chapel, with burial in Bucksville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
