Joe David Pearson, 64, of Bowling Green, passed away Oct. 12, 2014, at his home surrounded by family and friends.
He was a Warren County native, son of Dorothy Glasscock Pearson and the late Harold Pearson. His survivors include his wife, Brenda Taylor Pearson; his children, Joe David Pearson Jr., Penny Jo Warwick (Bobby), Brooke Hughes (Brad) and Luke Pearson (Becca), and stepdaughter Angela Bruton; 11 grandchildren, Joseph, Dacey and Kelsey Pearson, Savannah and Ben Warwick, Clay and Will Warden, Henry Hughes, Lily, Sam and Tom Pearson; two stepgrandchildren, Logan and Garrett; his siblings, Bobby Ray Pearson, Betty Thomas, Suzanne McLellan, Debbie Shirley, Martha Parrish, Peggy Greathouse and Richey Pearson; and was also loved by many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Joe was a specialized self-employed welder. He worked for local farmers in the area including Triple Oak and Hunt Farms. He was employed by Modern Welding Co. before becoming a specialized welder. Joe was the doctor of metalology and a cowboy at heart. He attended Plano Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son, Lovers Lane chapel, with burial at Plano Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of services at the funeral home.
