GLASGOW – James Michael “Mike” Ray, 16, of Glasgow died Sept. 12, 2007, at his residence.
The Horse Cave native was a sophomore at Barren County High School. He was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, James Ray; and a maternal great-grandmother, Louise Nixon.
Funeral is at 3 p.m. Saturday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Park City. Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his mother, Teresa Ray and her fiance, Allen Sinker, of Glasgow; his father, Steve Ray of Park City; a sister, Shelby Ray of Glasgow; maternal grandparents, Nick and Marilyn Nixon of Knob Lick; a paternal grandmother, Ruby Ray of Park City; maternal great-grandparents, Harrison and Jean Weaver of Brillion, Wis.; four uncles, Chip Nixon and his fiancee, Petra Strauss of Michigan, Jim Nixon and his fiancee, Angela Willoughby, of North Carolina, Leroy Ray and his wife, Ellen, of Indiana and Kenneth Ray and his wife, Melanie, of Park City; two aunts, Brenda Ray of Park City and Linda Adwell and her husband, Harold, of Glasgow; and several other relatives and friends.
