FRANKLIN – David Leslie Mayhew, 59, of Franklin died at 10:35 p.m. Feb. 23, 2007, at his residence.

The Clearwater, Fla., native was a retired employee of Potter & Brumfeld and a member of the Simpson County Fish and Game Club. He was a son of the late Samuel David Mayhew and Maudeline Meador Mayhew.

Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin. Visitation begins at 11 a.m. today and 6 a.m. Monday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.

Survivors include his stepmother, Wilma Mayhew of Scottsville; three sons, Robert Mayhew and his wife, Cindy, of Portland, Tenn., Shane Mayhew and his wife, Tracie, of Lawrenceburg, and Ricky Hammock and his wife, Brenda, of Bethpage, Tenn.; three brothers, Larry Mayhew of California and Wayne and Gary Mayhew, both of Franklin; two half brothers, Donald Scott of Franklin and Bobby Scott of League City, Texas; four half sisters, Gayle White Baldwin of Adairville, and Martha White Myatt, Jackie White Minnicks and Donna Ring, all of Franklin; a special friend, Carolyn Cassetty of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.
