BROWNSVILLE — David Kenton Woosley, 77, of Bowling Green, died at 4 a.m. May 8, 2010.

The Edmonson County native was an owner of Woosley Painting, a member of Reedyville Masonic Lodge and a member of Owensboro First United Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Champ Woosley and Christine Coleman Woosley and the husband of the late Virgie Minton Woosley. He was preceded in death by a son, Roger Dale Woosley; and a brother, Jimmy Woosley.

Funeral is at noon Monday at Gravil Funeral Home, with burial in Brownsville Cemetery. Visitation is from noon to 8 p.m. today and begins at 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Survivors include two sons, David Alan Woosley and his wife, Nelda, of Chalybeate, and Barry Woosley and his wife, Cindy, of Bowling Green; three sisters, Lahoma Shumaker and her husband, Ernie, of Lewis, Ind., and Shirley Wells and her husband, Charles, and Phyllis Renfro and her husband, Leland, all of Brownsville; four grandchildren, Laura Smith, Amy Minyard, Kayla Woosley and Zach Woosley; and five great-grandchildren.
