Bettina Richmond

Bettina Richmond, 51, of Bowling Green, died Nov. 22, 2009.

The Dresden, Germany, native was born Jan. 30, 1958. She was a graduate of Florida State University and was a professor of mathematics at Western Kentucky University. She was a daughter of the late Gisela Helbig Zoeller and Helmut Zoeller, who survives.

Memorial service is at noon Friday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The American Cancer Society or The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee.

Other survivors include her husband, Thomas A. Richmond; a son, Nathaniel Richmond, of Bowling Green; a daughter, Valerie Richmond, of Bowling Green; a brother, Christian Zoeller, of Germany; and a sister, Angelika Zoeller, of Germany.
