Bettie Lou Warren (Woosley)

Bowling Green – Bettie Lou Warren, 80 of Bowling Green passed away at her residence on Wednesday, June 5, 2019.

Bettie was a native of Louisville, Kentucky and the daughter of the late Clifford H. and Mary Franklin Goins Woosley. She was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church, a member of the Primetimers and the Celebrations Choir both at Eastwood. Bettie worked as the Office Manager for ATMOS Energy for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years; Charles “Tommy” Warren of Bowling Green, two sons; Chuck Warren, wife Susan, Pittsburgh, PA and Brad Warren, wife Penni, Woodburn, KY, a sister; Jan Wilson, Louisville, KY, three grandchildren; Michael Warren, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Amanda Kay Warren (Will Fane), Plano, KY, Alexandra McKnight, husband Brad, Pittsburgh, PA and several nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by her siblings and their spouses; Pauline Lindsey, husband Dewey, C. Howard Woosley, wife Irene, Floyd Woosley, wife Tess, Hazel Las! hley, hus band Jack and Juanita Vincent, husband Wavie.

Visitation is 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2019 at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel, and on Monday, June 10, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery #2. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation to Eastwood Baptist Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
