Anna Rose Forshee Reneau, 88, died at 1:05 a.m. Jan. 15, 2011, at The Medical Center.
The Simpson County native was born April 2, 1922. She was a homemaker and a member of Kerr Memorial Methodist Church. She was devoted to her family. She encompassed the value of generosity, graciousness and family loyalty by the way she lived her life. She will be missed. She was a daughter of the late John Robert Forshee and Emmaline Stanley Forshee. She was preceded in death by eight sisters, Myrtle Bell Forshee, Lou Ella Moran, Bertha Chyle, Josephine Spincer, Tina Pauline Hayes, Mary Carson, Dorothy Edds and Melba Ruth Forshee; and four brothers, Irvin Forshee, Paul Forshee, Robert Rowen Forshee and Lewis Forshee.
Funeral is at 1 p.m. Tuesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, with burial in Sulpher Springs Cemetery in Simpson County. Visitation is from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Glynda Reneau Heinicke and her husband, Henry, of Hermitage, Tenn.; a granddaughter, Sandra Ann Johnson of Hermitage, Tenn.; two great-granddaughters, Emily and Amy Johnson; two great-great-granddaughters, Makinzy Rose Hessey and Kylie Marie Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
