Amy Beth Campbell Bentley

Amy Beth Campbell Bentley, 35, of Bowling Green died from complications of a brain tumor June 19, 2014, while surrounded by family and friends. 

Amy was born March 20, 1979, to Michael E. Campbell and Shirley Scott Campbell, who survive. She also is survived by her two sons, Tyler Lane Bentley, age 13, and Aaron Scott Campbell, age 7, and paternal grandparents, Billy and Clara Burns and Marvin and Delois Campbell. 

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Leighton and Leatrice Scott. Additional survivors include her brother, Paul Campbell, his wife Ashley Campbell, and their two daughters, Ryleigh Campbell and Ally Reese Campbell. She is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

Amy was a 1997 graduate of Warren Central High School and a 2002 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a bachelor’s of science in biology and chemistry, and earned her associate’s degree in nursing in 2007, also from Western Kentucky University. Amy was employed as an RN with The Medical Center of Bowling Green for eight years.

Amy was a Christian, believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and was an active member of Barren River Baptist Church for 29 years. 

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Johnson, Vaughn and Phelps and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, with the funeral services beginning at 2 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Barren River Baptist Church Cemetery.
