Hometown: Nashville (moved to Bowling Green in 1995).
Family: Wife, Erika Winger; son Chase Winger; and daughter Baylor Winger.
The one thing no one knows about me is … I have a genuine fear of public speaking.
My dream job is … flying a jet for Fruit of the Loom and being based in Bowling Green.
My first job was … mountaineering instructor for Camp Hy-Lake in Tennessee.
The best advice I ever got was … no matter what, maintain a good attitude.
My hero (and why) is … Jerry Garcia. He showed me the light in the strangest of places. I just had to look at it right.
If I could do it all over again, I … wouldn’t change a thing. “Life is good and just keeps getting better!”
The part of my job I could do without is … thunderstorms, i.e., gusty wind and rain.
The one thing I always carry with me is … my “Pilots for Christ” pocket Bible.
Best meal I ever had was … a Billy’s Cheeseburger in Jackson Hole, Wyo.
At the top of my bucket list is … to create, enhance and expand more mountain biking opportunities in and around Bowling Green.
