Dr. and Mrs. Randy Deere of Bowling Green announce the engagement of their daughter, Lyndsey Megan, to James David Thomason, son of Charlie and Pamela Thomason of Franklin.

Lyndsey, a graduate of Greenwood High School, Western Kentucky University and University of the Cumberlands, is dean of students at Richardsville Elementary School.

James David, a graduate of Franklin Simpson High School and Western Kentucky University, is a technical program manager at Walmart Global Tech and real estate agent at Coldwell Banker.

A March wedding is planned.
