Author and comedian Brad Tassell’s new book Don’t Feed the Bully is a light hearted look at a serious problem. The novel is primarily targeted at students 10-14 who are most likely to be victimized by ongoing efforts to intimiate.

The plot revolves around a sixth grade detective named Handy who discovers that his new class keeps their bully in a cage. But as it turns out another bully is the caged youth’s watch dog.

The book teaches non violent ways of coping with bullies, such as denying them the reactions they seek.
