Lady Raiders defeat AC-S 82-77 in OT

SCOTTSVILLE Three players scored 20 or more points for Warren East High Schools girls basketball team as the Lady Raiders defeated defending Fourth Region Tournament champion Allen County-Scottsville 82-77 in overtime Friday. Lady Raiders point guard Deandrea Sullivan led all scorers with 22 points, followed by teammates Tiara Britt (21) and Kellye Rone (20). Rone had a big statistical night for Warren East with 11 rebounds for a double-double, and six assists and four steals. Sullivan added nine assists. Britt scored all 21 of her points in the second half, including nine of the Lady Raiders 16 points in the overtime period. Kristie Ballard paced the Lady Patriots with 18 points. Cammie Campbell chipped in 13, followed by Erin Brown and April Petty with 12 points each and Stacy Felchner (11).Warren East returns to action today to face Louisville Butler in the Republic Bank Kentucky Preps Classic at Trinity High School.
