Ben B. Carbo

SCOTTSVILLE — Ben B. Carbo, 88, of Smiths Grove died Aug. 17, 2009, at his home.

The Bluejay, W.Va., native was a farmer and a World War II Army veteran. He was a son of the late Bernard Carbo and Candida Berezo Carbo.

Funeral is at 7 p.m. today at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with cremation to follow the service. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Maggie Jean Smith Carbo; and several nieces and nephews, including Donald Pedigo and Glenna Allen.
