Omer Bojadzija, 83, of Bowling Green died at 5:55 p.m. March 26, 2009, at The Medical Center.
The Bosnia native was born Feb. 12, 1926. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the Islamic Center. He was a son of the late Alija Bojadzija and Devlija Bojadzija.
Graveside service is at 2 p.m. today at Bowling Green Gardens. There is no visitation. J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Muniba Bojadzija; a son, Edin Bojadzija and his wife, Besima, of Bowling Green; three daughters, Dina Sadikovic and her husband, Adem, Vahida Dadanovic and her husband, Hazim, and Mevlida Brkic and her husband, Hrusto, of Bosnia; two brothers, Edhem Bojadzija and his wife, Atifa, of Bosnia, and Suljo Bojadzija and his wife, Hajra, of Bosnia; a sister, Alma Isanovic of Germany; eight grandchildren, Edvin, Edina, Ejlin, Emir, Adelin, Armin, Meliha and Mirza; and six great-grandchildren.
