Shawn Wiesbrook, 23, of Bowling Green died at 9:40 p.m. Jan. 29, 2009, at 8133 Three Springs Road of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
The Aurora, Ill., native loved to play golf, hunt, fish and cook. He was the lead singer of a rock band and an avid Louisville Cardinals and Chicago Cubs fan. His future intentions were to attend culinary school. He was also a horse trainer at Locust Grove Stable in Russell Springs. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Jamestown and a member of the Russell County High School Golf Team. He was a son of Dean Wiesbrook and Patty Johnson Wiesbrook of Bowling Green, who survive. He was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Lowell Johnson; and his loving girlfriend, Shea Wells.
Funeral is at noon Monday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel.

Other survivors include two brothers, Brian Wiesbrook and his wife, Olcay, of Alexandria, Ala., and Jason Wiesbrook and his wife, Courtney, of Bowling Green; a sister, Jenifer Grider and her husband, Seth, of Columbia; a nephew, Aaron Wiesbrook of Alexandria; three nieces, Lyia Wiesbrook of Alexandria, Destiny Grider of Columbia and Ella Gray Wiesbrook of Bowling Green; a maternal grandmother, Marlene Johnson of Metropolis, Ill.; paternal grandparents, August and Joyce Wiesbrook of Montgomery, Ill.; two aunts, Sue Wiesbrook of Aurora, Ill., and Lisa Alsip and her husband, Damon, of Oswego, Ill.; an uncle, Wayne Wiesbrook and his wife, Debbie, of North Aurora, Ill.; and two cousins, Trey and Alex Alsip.
