Joel E. Hoffman

CONTINENTAL, Ohio — Joel E. Hoffman, 34, of Alvaton, Ky., formerly of Continental, died at 11:40 p.m. Jan. 25, 2009, at his residence.
He worked for the General Motors Bowling Green Corvette Assembly Plant. He was a son of William Hoffman and Kay Bibler Hoffman of Continental, who survive. On April 13, 2005, he married Pam Centers, who survives, of Alvaton. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Montell and Rosemary Bibler and Wanda Hoffman.
Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. EST and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. EST Friday at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, with burial at a later date.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Other survivors include two stepsons, Christopher Feeney of Defiance and Josh Feeney of Bowling Green, Ky.; two brothers, Matthew Hoffman of Columbus and Chad Hoffman and his wife, Monica, of Defiance; and his grandfather, Russell Hoffman of Continental.
