Ralph Thomas Penrose, 53, of Scottsville died at 5:57 p.m. July 12, 2009, at The Medical Center.

The Fort Monmouth, N.J., native was born May 3, 1956. He was a retired tool and die maker at General Motors, a volunteer firefighter with Meador Volunteer Fire Department in Allen County, president of Loners Motorcycle Club and a member of KBA. He loved music and was a beloved PaPa. He was a son of the late Ralph Penrose and Jessa Mae Leach Penrose and the husband of the late LaDonna Penrose.

Memorial service is at 10 a.m. Friday at the family farm in Scottsville. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel.

Survivors include two daughters, Crystal Penrose of Scottsville and Amanda Penrose of St. Louis; two brothers, Dr. John Penrose and his wife, Kathy, of Fayetteville, N.C., and Frank Penrose and his wife, Karen, of Mahomet, Ill.; three sisters, Mary Lou Shoff and her husband, Lenny, of Oakdale, Minn., and Barbara Radford and Jennie Flieg, both of Park Hills, Mo.; three grandsons, Ryan and Jeremy Penrose and Adonis Crochrell; several nieces and nephews; and a companion, Karen Owens of Scottsville.
