Mildred Witcher

SCOTTSVILLE — Mildred “Tooter” Witcher, 73, of Scottsville died at 12:20 a.m. July 29, 2009, at her residence.

The Allen County native was a homemaker and a member of East Willow Church of God. She was a daughter of the late Porter Lee Hunt and Dolly Tinsley Hunt and the wife of the late Orville Wayne Witcher. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Kinslow and Betty Sue Cherry; and two brothers, James Rex Hunt and Roy Wayne Hunt.

Funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home, with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Witcher and his wife, Mary Lou, of Lafayette, Tenn., and Steve Witcher and his wife, Sheila, of Scottsville; a daughter, Sandra Payne and her husband, Paul, of Scottsville; a sister, Sister Kathleen Sikes and her husband, Wallace, of Scottsville; six grandchildren, Laurie Duff and Andrea Witcher, both of Lafayette, Tenn., and Jason Witcher, Cody Witcher, Tisha Witcher and Tosha Witcher, all of Scottsville; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
