Starr Mountain Band: My Secretary (2008)

Starr Mountain Band’s latest release, My Secretary is largely a country release, however the musical variety on the disk also includes blues/rock and folk/rock as well as one track with a 60’s feel.

Featured guest musicians on the CD include Greg Martin of the Kentucky Headhunters playing guitar on two tracks, Bowling Green musician Andy Day on keyboards, Greg Hallums on fiddle for several tracks and Kevin Grissom, a Bowling Green musician, on pedal steel guitar on several tracks. The CD was mastered in Nashville by Grammy award winning Joe Palmaccio.

All twelve songs were written by Danny Scott and Anthony Ballou. The CD is available at the Great Escape in Bowling Green.

Starr Mountain Band includes: Anthony “Tony Gibson” Ballou (lead/rythm guitar and vocals), Don “Fred Zeppelin” Gilpin (bass and vocals), Danny “Buck Naked” Scott (drums and vocals).
