Western Kentucky senior Stephen Warren was named to the Conference USA Men’s Golf All-Academic Team on Thursday.

Warren carries a 3.90 GPA in biology/chemistry.

A native of Owensboro, Warren has played in nine of 10 tournaments this season and leads the team with a 73.16 scoring average. He has been WKU’s top finisher three times and has five top-25 finishes, including a season-best tie for fifth at the Purdue Fall Invitational.

Over the course of his career, Warren has a 74.06 scoring average through 72 rounds. In 25 tournaments he has two top 5s, five top 10s and 10 top 25s.

Next week, the Warren and the Tops head to Texarkana, Arkansas, for the Conference USA Championships, April 21-24.
