BGFD responds to fire at Kenway Disposal Center

The Bowling Green Fire Department was on the scene at the Kenway Disposal Center Tuesday morning after a fire broke out around piles of trash.
BGFD received the call at 6:56 a.m. Personnel from two BGFD battalions were on scene along with Med Center EMS and the environmental and construction company TPM Group, who were providing hazmat services.
No injuries were reported Wednesday morning.
Katie McKee, public information officer for BGFD, said the call received a full structure fire response and containment efforts will be going on throughout the day Wednesday.
