Christian Family Radio, a listener-supported broadcast ministry with a studio in Bowling Green, has been nominated as a finalist for the “Small Market Station of the Year” award by Christian Music Broadcasters.

The recognition highlights the station’s commitment to delivering high-quality, faith-based programming to its listeners while fostering a positive community impact, according to a news release.

The “Small Market Station of the Year” award is part of the annual CMB Awards, which recognize the achievements and contributions of radio stations, personalities and organizations within the Christian music broadcast industry.

The winner will be announced during the CMB’s annual gathering of radio professionals in Orlando, Florida, May 30.

In recent years CFR has received other industry accolades such as Kentucky Broadcast Association’s “Station of The Year” in 2021, Bowling Green Daily News “Best Local Radio Station” in 2023 and 2024 and “Best Radio Personality” (Derek Gregory) in 2024.
