SMITHS GROVE – January 6, 1955 – January 5, 2025 With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Teresa Edgerton, who left this world on January 5, 2025, at the age of 69. She was born on January 6, 1955, in The Dalles, Oregon, to Elmer Jay Edgerton and Rosemary Beymer.

Teresa was a loving mother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many with her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family and her two beloved cats.

She is survived by her two children, Lee Schafer and Stephanie Schafer (David), and her only grandchild, Jarod Schafer, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her siblings, Susan Darling, Diana Ralph, Marilyn Lucas (Grover), and Gary Edgerton (Ellie), along with numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Teresa will be remembered for her warm heart, her deep love for family, her fondness for her cats, and her enjoyment of playing games.

She brought joy and laughter to those around her, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
